Hand embroidery is a timeless art that Mary Kristen learned from her grandmothers growing up in Mississippi. The tools for hand embroidery are wonderfully simple—a hoop, needle, and embroidery floss but it is her impeccable skills for designing, planning, and organization that truly turn it into art.

What started with making pieces as gifts for friends, turned into an Etsy shop and has now grown into a bespoke hand embroidery business where she's creating heirloom pieces for clients across the country.

Also known as Fin Renard's Iron Man, Tucker was the stud and hunting dog for a kennel in North Georgia before retiring with MK. This incredibly handsome Pudelpointer now keeps MK company during long embroidery sessions and maintains her studio schedule.

When he's not supervising hand embroidery work, Tuck loves eating his homemade meals, playing fetch, and taking long walks on the beach.
